Seinfeld in SimCity?

No, I haven't simmed Jerry Seinfeld but I have created his favorite hangout. Monk's Restaurant or as it's called in real life, Tom's Restaurant, located at 112th and Broadway in Manhattan.

Tom's isn't only famous for its appearances on Seinfeld but also for the well known 80's song about it by Suzanne Vega.

Now the iconic greasy spoon has made its way into SimCity.

Google New York Update

The skyline of Google Earth New York is progressing and finally coming to life with the help of textured 3D buildings from the 3D Warehouse.

Madison Square Garden and West 34th Street

Madison Square Park

Lower Manhattan

Wall Street and Broadway

Jersey City

17 State Street, Battery Park and South Street

If you haven't already downloaded Google Earth I highly recommend it. It makes for a great reference for my New York recreation project, plus it's just really neat.

SIMple City Creator

Some off topic news you can use for today.

While browsing through skyscraperpage.com this morning I came across an online city creator.

It allows you to place buildings, trees and roads and is reminiscent of SimCity 2000. If you have time be sure to check it out.
