Today marks the seventh anniversary of 9/11. SimNew York is paying tribute to that day by offering the World Trade Center for download. You can get it in the downloads section.
I saw your downloads, and they are great. Ive seen some pics of your Chicago and Boston, I haven't seen DC and the SF Bay Area yet. I hope you do Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver next, and maybee London, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, and Paris
Anonymous #1, all those who witnessed the events certainly won't. I'm sure there is more being done other than building memorials, I just don't know what those things are.
Anonymous #2, thanks more of my other recreations will be shown near the end of the month.
I don't plan on creating all of those cities but instead have collected some pictures of international cities from CJ's and am thinking about showing them. That's a little ways off though.
I really like the Twin Towers, how they belended in with the rest of Manhattan, and how tall they were, though I had know idea what they were when 9/11 happened when I was in second grade. I drew a cityscape drawing with many New York buildings in it, even the Twin Towers. They were one of the only buildings on the picture that would draw my eyes to.
We will never forget what happened that day, though I wish more could be done about remmbering those who were lost insteda of just saying that though.
